First Appearance: Spider-Island #5
After the Inheritors were defeated and the Spider-Verse event was over, May "Mayday" Parker returned home to her time to deal with the death of her father, Peter, who was killed by the Inheritors. To honor his memory, she updated her costume from the suit worn by Ben Reilly to the classic red and blue of the original Spider-Man, taking the name Spider-Woman! When she found that wearing her father's costume was making her dwell on his absence, she updated her Spider-Woman costume to make it look more like her own.
